Protekt is a water-based preservative, used for the industrial processing of wood. The product protects the surface of the wood and the treated area against fungi that cause decomposition and rot. The wood stabilises itself in its dimensions. After treatment with Protekt, the product is finished with stain or colour to prevent leaching of the preservative.
